1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Skillztank (the "Service"), operated by Skillztank Inc. ("we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Skillztank is a SaaS platform for AI-powered course creation and training. It enables users to:

  • Create and structure courses, modules and lessons.
  • Generate educational content using AI.
  • Transcribe and document audio/video calls (AI Scribe).
  • Instantly translate content between French and English.
  • Conduct built-in video calls with recording.
  • Manage training workspaces with custom branding.

3. Registration and Account

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The Service offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro, Enterprise).
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, at your choice.
  • Refunds are at Skillztank Inc.'s discretion, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Unused AI credits are non-refundable and expire at the end of the billing period.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain all intellectual property rights to the content you create on Skillztank (courses, lessons, files, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host and display this content as part of the Service.

Our platform: Skillztank, its code, design, algorithms and brand are the exclusive property of Skillztank Inc. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
  • Upload content that infringes on third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access other users' data without authorization.
  • Use the Service to distribute malware.
  • Generate hateful, discriminatory or illegal content via AI tools.

7. AI Features

Artificial intelligence features (content generation, transcription, translation, voice-over) are provided "as is". AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and validating content before publication.

8. Service Availability

We strive to ensure continuous availability of the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled or emergency maintenance periods may occur.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Skillztank Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, revenue or profits.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montréal, Quebec.

12. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
